We're spending Christmas together at home! I'm looking forward to some quality relaxation. Here. At home. Noooowhere to go. Nah, I actually AM looking forward to it! Rob is home for 3 days and it's been a while since we've been able to veg out for a whole weekend!
I'm trying to wean myself off of FB, so instead of overloading my albums with pictures, I'll do it here. BUT, there are too many pictures and they take too much space, so instead - a link! Wedding Bells!
My sister is engaged! I'm so happy for her and Alaina! The wedding is scheduled for March in Las Vegas. Time to get skinny!! We just got a Wii balance board with the Wii Fit game, and also the Biggest Loser Challenge game. They're pretty intense, but fun! It's helpful to hear Bob's voice throughout the BLC game telling you not to stop!
Today is an errands day - Groceries, cookie baking, cleaning for company, laundry. I've had a very lazy couple of days, so it will feel good to get some things accomplished!
A couple of pictures from this week - Max's first time playing in the snow! He loved it!! A couple of times he just laid his cheek on the snow and didn't move.

Down the hall...
Connor and Max are finally playing together! Connor coaxes Max down the hallway into his bedroom to play with toys. I was sitting happily (peacefully) in the living room during one of these occasions today when I heard - THUNK. Connor "Uh-Oh!" and then Max crying. I'm thankful it wasn't THUNK and HAHA!! That will come soon enough!

Summer Excitement
Since we arrived in our new state in May, we've done a lot of exploring! The mountains surrounding our city are full of exciting hikes and fun finds. The city itself has lots of family-friendly activities. Here are a couple of things that have occupied our weekends throughout the summer;
Connor's first pony ride! He was a big fan. There's a petting zoo just a few miles away. Con finally got to be up close and personal with his favorite aminoh's!
Turtle!!
This was at the state fair. Connor has no fear! He would have swung from the tails of the bulls if we would have let him!
Rob and Connor at the veeerrrrry top, ready to head down the BEST slide ever!
A park nearby - It's huge and fantastic!
Off to spend a day at the zoo!
My monkeys watching the monkeys.
I guess they were pretty fascinating.
This elephant (eh-wasent from Connor's language) would 'sneeze'. Water would spray from his trunk!
We even got to see the baby elephant fresh after she got a bath!!
Cooooool!
We've had a great summer! Now fall is here and the cooler weather is VERY motivating! Lots of goodies are getting baked, and a fun Halloween party is being planned. We're all excited for what winter will soon bring! (Skiing, snowboarding, sledding... can't wait!)

First Blog!
This is a new world for me! So have patience with me - I'm a blogginner!
Truth is, I've been quite obnoxious on Facebook - posting far more pictures of my babies than should be legal. So I decided I'd find a legitimate home for photo-posting and random babbles.
A little about myself; I'm a proud mom (if you haven't already discovered that) of two wonderful boys. One is 2 and one is 6 months old. I love the butts off of them! And they definitely keep me busy and keep me laughing. I'm married to a man who is a dedicated daddy, and possibly the only man in the world who could put up with me! He's the kind of man who brings me flowers just because he loves me, watches the kids ANYtime I need a night out, and manages to put a dish in the dishwasher more often than not. Am I lucky or what?? Don't get me wrong! He has his moments, and we have our brawls too. Who doesn't? (Please don't answer that.)
Connor (my 2 yr old) is beginning to speak in sentences. He's becoming even more independant and fearless than ever before. I'm trying to cherish every moment of his childhood that I have left. Tomorrow he'll be graduating high school!!
Max is getting around. He's not quite crawling, but he scoots and rolls until he gets where he wants to be. But he'll be crawling soon! He's a pro at rocking back and forth on his knees! I love this age of discovery. Although I wish he wouldn't rediscover my hair every day! This one's a Momma's boy and I can't help hoping he stays that way.
We just recently relocated to a new state. We come from a land of humidity, mosquitoes, and small hills. Now we're surrounded by mountains! No mosquitoes, no humidity, PERFECT weather!
Oh, how I love the adventure of new beginnings!
