I'm hearing it. The call of the child. This kid is nearly ready to make an appearance, and she's letting me know!! The other night we packed our bags for the hospital in a mini panic. I was having regular contractions 7 minutes apart, then after an hr and a half they were 6 minutes apart. I thought she was going to be too early! But it was a false start. I breathed through them for about 4 hours before they dissipated. I was both relieved and disappointed. But NOW I'm 36 weeks along, and in the safe zone. If she were to rear her *hopefully beautiful* head now, the doctor wouldn't stop it. Phew! I'm on a mission to get her out. Spicy food (heartburn), walking AKA shopping (huge ankles at the end of the day) and a few other activities short of jumping jacks.
Max is going through a stage where all he wants to wear is undies and shoes. He's not truly happy being almost naked until he's wearing his bright green Crocs. Gotta love his fashion sense! At least he's comfortable.
I finally may have found a solution to our bedtime problem. Even though it's more tiring for me, and I give up my own dowtime, I've been keeping the boys up late. Not that I had much downtime anyway, with the fight I had every night! But when they are up til 9 or 10, they actually tend to stay in their beds once I put them down! There's no fighting, just tired boys. It's been a very, very, very nice week!
